A healthy fitness lifestyle as well as a strong mental health are important prerequisites for a fulfilled and successful life today. The two areas - personal training & mental health - both work hand in hand together. And this is where I come in: My name is Stephen and I am a personal trainer, originally from London, UK, and now based in Basel, Switzerland. I combine 5 years of experience and passion in personal training and offer 1-1 personal training focusing on form and technique to help my clients achieve there fitness goals. I offer a no-nonsense approach to fitness whilst adapting my training programs to my clients everyday lives and needs. I combine mobility, nutrition and strength / conditioning to get my clients results they need.

Esperienza fantastica: At 6ft5/197cm, I have always been a big guy but after 1+ year in the US, I came back to Basel with extra weight especially since I had not done any sports for 2+ years! As they say “health is wealth” so back in November 2023 I decided to get back in shape and couldn’t have asked for a better trainer to support me through the journey! I’m so grateful to Stephen for helping me lose 15kg in just under 7 months whilst building loads of muscle mass - which is not easy. His professionalism and tailored approach made all the difference, with personalized workouts and invaluable health and nutrition tips that completely changed my lifestyle ! Stephen’s patience and constant encouragement kept me motivated, even during challenging moments and helped me to achieve goals I never thought possible. He’s not only an amazing trainer but also a great person! If you’re looking for someone who will inspire and guide you every step of the way, I can’t recommend Stephen enough!

Esperienza fantastica: Life changing! Honestly difficult to find a different way to describe it. I have done personal training for years, sometimes with good results, sometimes with no results. Never ever with such an impact. In basically 8 months my body completely changed, as well as my mindset towards food shifted. My journey to a better health, fitness and good relationship with food has been in the making for years. Meeting Stephen was the turning point. Age 45 (ok, nearly 46 ) and I feel I am in the best shape of my life. Would truly recommend!

Esperienza fantastica: Best trainer I’ve ever had! I was struggling with a shoulder injury that made it very difficult to lift without a lot of pain, and kept me almost completely out to the gym for several years. After just 2 months working with Stephen, I am completely out of pain! After 10 months I am in the best shape of my life. Amazing experience and highly recommend him.

Esperienza fantastica: Being of a certain age and not particularly sporty to begin with, I was apprehensive about starting with a trainer, but I couldn't be happier with how training with Stephen has made me stronger, more toned and more confident about my body. Esperienza fantastica: Trained with Stephen in London and he massively helped me achieve my personal goals to lose weight, improve my confidence within the gym and understand the importance of not just how to train properly (technique) but how important food is within your training plan. Stephen is knowledgable, friendly, polite and great company to train with, he will motivate you, encourage you and support you with all aspects in your training regime. I would highly recommend Stephen as a personal trainer and wish him the best of luck over in Switzerland we still catch up weekly via his on-line training plan.

Esperienza fantastica: Stephen trained me for a year with interesting and updated programs and kept me motivated to achieve more! He was always on time and showed up, and sessions were always fun and interesting. I also learnt a lot about improving my diet for better results.

Esperienza fantastica: Stephen is an amazing trainer. He’s quick to respond, created efficient workouts and is careful with pre-existing injuried. Most of all though he motivates me constantly and makes my bad days a little better

Esperienza fantastica: Training with Stephen opened my eyes to the importance of technique. He always took the time to ensure I understood the exercise, what my body should be doing and the muscles we were working on. This was of most importance to Stephen, even more than the number of reps I was able to push out and that approach really paid off. After a few weeks I found myself pushing beyond the limits I had placed on my mind and body. My confidence to use the equipment increased and I really started seeing the results of all the hard work. Really gutted that the pandemic stopped us working together but if given the opportunity I would definitely work with Stephen again. In my opinion, he is truly one of the best PT’s around.

Esperienza fantastica: Trained with Stephen for about 6 months. Had a good structured plan which I enjoyed - meant I could also keep to the plan on days I wasn’t with Stephen. Always good on form too - correcting my bad posture. Would have kept training with him if he hadn’t moved

Esperienza fantastica: I started with Stephen weighing 78KG and a size 14. 6 months later I was 8KG lighter, a size 10. The confidence he gave me in the gym is amazing. He educated me on health and the value of nutrition. Great PT! Would recommend to anyone.

Esperienza fantastica: Stephen really helped me achieve my goal of wanting to achieve a better physique and increase my body weight. He guided me with setting nutrition goals and creating a programme and focussed on widening the range of exercises I used from my existing knowledge. Esperienza fantastica: Working out with Stephen is the best thing that has ever happened to me. After having gained weight due to the pandemic, he helped me become the best version of myself. Taught me how and what to eat and more importantly how to be patient, 'Trust the process'. If you don't have any motivation, don't worry Stephen has some for 10! Training with him is just the best: quick, efficient and fun!

Esperienza fantastica: Stephen is a wonderful coach. He was able to help me see the results in my body within a reasonably short period of time. He showed me the value of training smarter - not harder and taught me the value of a good session. He understood how my body works and was able to cater a program to exactly what I needed. Above all - Stephen is extremely kind and welcoming. At no point did he ever make me feel uncomfortable during our sessions and encouraged me in all the right ways. I would highly recommend his expertise !

Esperienza fantastica: I trained with Stephen when I was on a brief (3 month) work rotation in London. I like working with trainers for a few reasons. First, I get really bored being in the gym by myself. Like why are there other humans there but we aren’t chatting? Second, I will either push myself to injury or not push myself at all. Third, because it is INCREDIBLY helpful to have someone monitoring your progress and guiding your journey. Stephen hit it out of the park in all these areas and on top of that I had TONS OF GAINS. I lost weight, my sleep and energy improved, and I got so much stronger. Even better, I really enjoyed going to the gym with him as he was great company throughout the workout. Lastly he also provided me with easy to follow plans for days I wasn’t with him. Lastly lastly, he will check your form and make sure you are engaging the right muscles during your exercise.

Esperienza fantastica: I worked with Stephen whilst he was based in London and was really happy with the progress we made. He’s very knowledgable, friendly and supportive and was able to help me make a sustainable exercise and diet plan to help achieve my personal goals (to put on muscle).
