Delara, Elisa and Romain are not only highly skilled teachers but are also incredibly supportive and dedicated, and will accompany you on your learning path with patience and consistency. And what sets the Ashtanga Yoga Vevey apart is the beautiful community it fosters. I've met incredible individuals who became a true inspiration on my yoga journey. I cannot recommend it more.

This is an excellent yoga school that is suitable for both - advanced practitioners and beginners (beginner classes are also available). Esperienza fantastica: I have heard about Delara Tiv in and abroad Asthanga yoga retreat, looking for a teacher that got a sincere interest for the fundamental principles of yoga, more than just for the asana practice and a deep understanding of anatomy. I was fortunate enough to find such a teacher in Delara soon after starting with Asthanga. She puts so much energy and love in her work and has an eagle eye for the detail, detecting quickly what you do wrong, why and knows how to adapt the posture to your body in a way that makes you progress. Here, you will find a practice that is much more satisfying than a purely body oriented practice like pilates or fitness. She is consequent to teach you not to arrive as soon as possible to the most impressive posture but to do the asanas in a clean, epurated and safe way. Through the very deep understanding of dynamic anatomy that she got through her work as a Rolfer, she knows how to adapt a posture to your level and to give you advice to get a better body awareness. The integrative view she got of the body, as a whole, with all the interactions of the different muscle groups with lasting, effective and conservative advices is a view and way of working that I value a lot as a medic. I clearly recommend her for musculoskeletal problems. She also has a very good understanding of the philosophy of yoga and gives a much deeper dimension to the practice than I got to experience in other schools. So if you are looking to get a deeper understanding of yoga as a philosophy, a way of living and to improve your body awarness then I can only recommend you the philosophy of this school.

Esperienza fantastica: This ashtanga shala is indeed blessed and special. Delera teaching/adjustment is highly valuable, caring, and meaningful, grounded in years of practice and studies. Her assistants Elisa and Romain are in her footsteps. The fundamental of Ashtanga practice are expected and reminded as a whole attitude from the practioners: Casa Vinyasa is not a gym. What matters the most is how sincere and dedicated you are in your practice and then support will be there for you. Not to omit: the shala is simply gorgeous! A contemporary loft with a soul, high ceiling, plenty of windows, giant happy plants, great library and the entire space is very well maintained and extra clean. This shala stands out among all the previous I have been to in Europe and further.
