Joker Jiu-Jitsu Bern

Expérience positive: I decided to drop in for a class on my Vacation and visited the Gi class on a tuesday. I was Immediatly greeted by the Teacher who was over enthusiastic and really eager to teach. Even tho he was a bluebelt he taught a crosscollar choke i could immediately apply in sparring. Definitly would go again THANKS ALOT GUYS

Expérience fantastique: From the first moment people were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and patient. The trainings are spent in a warm atmosphere with lots of laughter beside the serious stuff. The couches are excellent at demonstrating and breaking down the techniques. You feel like you are paid attentioned to even though sometimes it can be many attending the class, the coaches still manage to make you feel like you are at a private class. Even in a short time period I already feel Im progressing well and having such a good time at the trainings. I only wish the classes would last longer than 2hrs :D The place itself is very clean and organized and the location is also very charming.. Overall amazing experience training at Joker, very thankful for all!

Expérience fantastique: Ich bin vor knapp einem halben Jahr nach Bern gezogen und habe bei Joker super schnell Anschluss in einer tollen BJJ Community gefunden. Das Gym ist eines der schönsten die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte, das Training bietet eine hochwertige Mischung aus Stand- und Bodenkampf Techniken (Stand up wird nicht wie in manch anderen Gyms vernachlässigt;)) und die Comminity ist sehr familiär. Der Aufstieg der Treppe hoch in die Stadt ist außerdem ein jedes Mal eine willkommene Challenge nach dem Training!

Expérience fantastique: The Joker Jiu-Jitsu Team is honestly one of the best crews to train with in Bern. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed—not just by the coaches, but by the whole crew. It’s a gym that moves away from rigid and old fashioned martial arts traditions; it’s inclusive, relaxed, and full of personality. If you’re a decent human being and come in with kindness, you’ll get exactly that in return— respect, warmth, and a great training environment. The coaches are really intentional about creating training that works for everyone. Whether you’ve been practicing martial arts for years or you’re just stepping onto the mats for the first time, you’ll find your place, and you’ll find good training partners to train and develop with. I’d 100% recommend dropping in for a session or two if you are around. Just good people, good vibes, and great rolls. - just five cents from someone who has been part of quite a few gyms by now and has been lucky enough to be a part of the joker crew for a while!

Expérience fantastique: Macht extrem Spass dort zu trainieren. Die Trainer machen einen sehr guten Job, einem die Techniken beizubringen. Auch wenn man noch absoluter Anfänger ist, wird man herzlich aufgenommen und einem alles gezeigt.

Expérience fantastique: Super friendly gym, with a mix of levels. I dropped in just for one session but had a real blast. Everyone was welcoming and the lesson was great! Some nice Kesa stuff and a bit of takedown training, too. Come here if you want to see an excellent Kesa Cradle in action… Also worth noting that the gym itself is in a very cool location, with a surprisingly large mat space. Can’t recommend it enough!
